Bedroom Magnetic Wall Lamp - Motion Sensor Lamp

My stairway leading upstairs has no overhead light fixture, but these rechargeable lights were the perfect solution for that! I currently have them mounted on the wall going up my stairway. I love how they look, the wood grain look is beautiful. I love the fact that these are rechargeable so you don’t need to hardwire them in. Also you can remove the light from the base that’s mounted to the wall and carry the light with you to use as a flashlight. These are really awesome.

Got these to replace some of another brand which died on me.These have a very nice wide motion sensing beam, so it covers the room well as I walk in.The brightness is so-so. I don't like how uneven the lighting is inside the "bulb". You can see how it's significantly brighter from where the light is being emitted from. Contrasting with my old one that did a good job of pretty evenly dispersing the light across its bulb, this looks lower quality.My old one also only activated with motion sensing when the room is dark. Saves on battery significantly. These, on the other than, turn on even when the room is already bright. I don't need that, I just want a nightlight so I'm not accidentally bumping into things in the dark.It's just as simple to use at least. Same single switch. I thought it'd be the same, but alas it isn't.At nearly $30 each, this is pretty ridiculously expensive. My old one was nearly half the price per light.

The light units themselves are very well made and nicely finished. The faux wood grain is reasonably realistic and looks great with the overall design. The translucent plastic portion, which feels pleasantly thick and durable, appears to be a uniform frosted white when off, but when on has a (non-flickering) torch-like effect that glows brighter at the bottom and less so towards the top... although the very end glows quite bright as well. The color of light produced is quite warm and pleasant, precisely what I prefer at night.The base is quite simple in comparison, but does it's basic job extremely well. It is essentially a plastic disc with two powerful magnets embedded in it in order to hold the light unit in place. It does this perfectly, with the magnets being strong enough to instantly and firmly hold the light unit, yet not so strong that the unit is hard to pull away. The disc mounts easily to just about any surface using a double-sided adhesive pad.We've been using these in a tight but tall stairwell that just never seems to be lit quite right. The sensors are excellent, easily picking up our approach regardless of whether we are coming from upstairs or down, or coming around the corner. However, they are not so sensitive that they trigger for no reason. They really got the sensors right on these. The level of brightness is similar to a typical bedside reading lamp. We've found ourselves using them as convenient little flashlights for things like late night laundry runs, when you don't want to turn five different lights on and off along the way. Even with all that, ours are still running on the initial charge after three plus weeks of use. That's pretty reassuring, as we originally ordered these for use during hurricane/storm related power outages.At a little under $60 for two of these at the time of writing, these are not the least expensive motion sensing lighting option out there, but they are absolutely worth the minor premium. These are solidly built, well designed, easy to install, and work exceptionally well. Plus, they really do come in handy in all sorts of unexpected ways. Highly Recommended!!

Bright and sleek, these are a great pair of cordless lights. Easy to install with a base and easy to charge since attached with magnets and usb-c port for compatibility. I use them in a basement hallway where there’s no power for lights and the motion censors work perfectly.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are really great little lights that have quite a shine! They fit nicely on the magnetic bases and the magnetic bases are small enough to stash out of the way quite easily. It's like carrying a little lightdagger in the dark, though you have to do the sound effects on your own. They have reasonably good battery life coupled with reasonably quick charging time makes it easy to have one in the rotation all the time. They're invaluable for navigating around the dark corners in the middle of the night or digging around in the car in the dark!
