This is a good buy for the price. I have used it so many times, and it’s still in perfect shape. It pops almost all the kernels unless you overfill it. The top has a nice measuring spoon with a swivel to dump right in, use that as your guide!I’m giving it 4 stars because, as a popcorn expert, I feel like the machine could be just a touch hotter to make the popcorn slightly crunchier. That’s probably just the trade-off for the price point, but if you’re not too particular, it delivers 9 out of 10 popcorn!The only tiny drawback is that it throws a few kernels pretty far out, so move the bowl back and enjoy. I would buy it again if I ever needed a replacement- great quality overall.

Greetings, this product was poorly designed. There must not have been test run to evaluate the malfunction operation of this product. The fan runs too high, therefore forcing half of the uncooked seeds out popper before they had a chance to warm and therefore pop with precision. The force behind the fan is so powerful it forces the popped corn Literally all over the floor. Over the last 17 years I have purchased and used until the heat element burned out and YES, this model is by far the worst I have ever purchased. I even took a long piece of foil placed it under the scoop all the way down into my large tin foil container and the popped corn still manages to pop all over the floor. A product to eager to be released and NOT tested. Blessings to you if you so bravely decide to choose the model over others. Shalom!

We bought this because we wanted a smaller portion of popcorn per batch so we would have less waste. That didn't work out.Spits out half of the corn kernels unpopped. Bigger corn kernels did not help. Lots of kernels actually popped in the bowl and sent popcorn flying everywhere.
